The truck is 700 pounds lighter than the 2014 model, but this has allowed the increase in the tow rating by 1,100 pounds (max 12,200) and the payload rating to 3,300 pounds. The weight-saving has also helped increase cooling efficiency by 30%.

At 5:30am on February 27th, Team Xtreme Racing’s trailer was stolen. Inside the trailer was the car that Travis Kvapil was supposed to drive in Sunday’s race. Without a car to drive, Kvapil did not make qualification and will be unable to race which understandably upsets him.
