Everything is always evolving. We aren’t driving Model Ts anymore, and I don’t see anyone using a flip phone (except my grandmother). Just like cars and technology, marketing is always evolving. More importantly, like a lot of things today, marketing has gone digital. Print and magazine ads are still popular (don’t get me started on radio), but the main focus is online marketing. Online marketing is hard to ignore especially when over 3 billion people are on the internet (40% of the world’s population). Do I have your attention yet?

Competition is everywhere. Every business in the world has some form of competition. Some studies suggest competition is a good thing because it gets the business to work a lot harder for their customers. This ensures that the consumer gets the best product or service. If the customer doesn’t find that then there is another business to offer a similar service. If Starbucks messes my coffee up then I’ll go down the street to Dunkin Donuts.
